Bishop (MBA): This program provides a structured program with a team-based environment for undergraduate students to prepare for graduate study in business administration. This program includes courses in accounting, marketing, and finance. It also includes a one-year "modicum" of an international experience before graduation. The minor consists of three concentrations that relate to general business. Business Services and Informatics (includes business information technology); Education and Higher Education; and Business Analytics

CCC holds several continuing professional education programs for health care professionals in the St. Mary Parish area, including: 


These continuing professional education programs are funded by a grant from the La. Department of Health and Hospitals. These courses focus on health policy and practice, and provide opportunities for health care professionals to learn more about the changes in health care delivery models in the 21st century.

The schools of Nursing and Allied Health, and the School of Pharmacy are accredited by the Louisiana Board of Nursing. The School of Health Professions is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Due to their unique program, CCC's nursing program is approved as a hospital LPN-B program by the Louisiana Board of Nursing. The college offers nursing associate degrees, including a B.S.N. program in Nursing, and a B.S.N.


(honors) in Nursing. It also offers a nursing diploma and a registered nurse licensure exam preparation program. All of these programs require 60 credit hours of study in order to graduate

The college offers its bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering with two options. The first option is a two-year program, and requires 120 credit hours. The second option is a four-year program, and requires 250 credit hours of study. Students who complete both programs will graduate with both an undergraduate bachelor's degree and a master of science degree in chemical engineering. The college is a member of the Higher Learning Commission and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. CCC-SLHS is the state's first four-year college.


CCC-SLHS offers multiple graduate programs, including master's degrees in Business Administration, Early Childhood Education, Kinesiology, Physical Therapy, Professional Counseling, Social Work, and more. Students can also earn dual degrees with Louisiana State University, with the following options: a master of education, a master of arts, and a master of science in curriculum and instruction. Graduate students in the psychology program are offered the opportunity to do graduate research.

CCC-SLHS offers two special programs, specifically for students who wish to earn both an undergraduate and master's degree. Each program lasts one academic year.


The two programs are:


CCC-SLHS is approved by the Louisiana Board of Nursing for a Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. The college also offers the opportunity to obtain a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (6+ months). The college also offers a dual degree program with Louisiana State University. Students are able to choose between a master's degree in nursing and a master of arts in curriculum and instruction. The student must complete a minimum of 60 credit hours and must have earned a high school diploma or GED in order to enroll in this program.


CCC-SLHS is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award Bachelor's Degrees, Associate of Science Degrees, Associate of Science Degrees, Associate of Applied Science Degrees, and Associate of Arts Degrees.


The college is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission to award a Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. The college is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BCSN) program, a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), a Master of Arts in Science Education (M.S.S.E.) and an Associate of Science in Nursing (A.S.N.) program.


CCC-SLHS is a member of the National Consortium for Developmental Education (NCDE) and the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education.
